APE: Spring Exhibit – Call for Entries

APE is proud to announce a call for Artists for the Southern Fried Photographers exhibit Friday, May 7th, 8th, 14th and 15th at the Big House Gallery in Castleberry Hill. This exhibit occurs during the May Castleberry Hill Artstroll.

Our goal is to showcase the kind of photos that represent the non-profit organization.

  • This is a non-theme exhibit; as long as it is a photo, it is acceptable.
  • This is non-juried. If there is space, you are in; unlike juried exhibits, where they ask for $25 entry fee with no guarantee of getting in the show.
  • Low entry fee starting at $30 per photo.
  • Artists keep 100% of any sales.

Here are the available opportunities:

$30 Option – *** SOLD OUT*** An artist can hang one framed photo and bring up to 10 unframed matted bagged prints.  The unframed photos are included in the sales area. Each artist can sign up for more than one spot, same pricing and limits apply.

$150 Option – Artist Area. *** SOLD OUT*** There are only 4 artist areas available and are limited to 1 per artist.  In an artist area, a photographer can hang as many framed photos as they like, usually 4-8 prints depending on the size of the frames. Your presentation must be professional, i.e. you can’t just throw up as many as you like, the artist area must be well presented. In addition, in each artist area, an artist can bring in their own bin to sell prints. There are no limits on the number of unframed prints, since the artist has their own space.

Ready to join in? Just fill out the entry form.
