Fall 2011 Exhibit Call for Entries
It is now time to sign up for the Southern Fried Photographers Fall exhibit – Sept 30th (FLUX night) and Oct 14th (Artstroll Night).
The first Friday, Sept 30th, opens up the doors to the ever-popular FLUX. The second Friday, Oct 14th will be 2nd Friday Castleberry Hill Art Stroll (voted best neighborhood art stroll in by Creative Loafing).
- This is a non-themed exhibit; as long as it is a photo, it is acceptable.
- This is non-juried. If there is space, you are in; unlike juried exhibits, where they ask for $25 entry fee with no guarantee of getting in the show.
- Artists keep 100% of any sales (less any credit card processing fees).
- Minimum nominal frame size is 11×14; Maximum is 16×20. (if you go to the store, it should say 11×14 or 16×20 on the packaging)
- Frames should be flat black, 1.5-3″ wide with a white mat.
Available Opportunities
$35 Option – One Framed Photo. An artist can hang one framed photo and bring 1 art bin of unframed, matted and bagged prints in the Artist Market area. Each artist can sign up for more than one spot, same limits apply; see the other options below.
$65 Option – Two Framed Photos. Same as the $35 option plus one additional framed gallery photo.
$95 Option – Three Framed Photos. Same as the $35 option plus two additional framed gallery photos.
$125 Option – Artist Area One Wall. You get one whole 8 foot wide wall to do what you like!
$175 Option – Artist Area Two Walls. You have more than 12 foot wide area to host your own mini-exhibit. Hang as many photos as you want.
